Q.1) When can I view the details of Exam city, date, shift etc ?
Ans.Candidates can view and take print of their exam city, date and shift details from 09.09.2018 onwards by logging into the link provided on the official websites of RRBs.
Q.2) What is the procedure to view my Exam city, date and shift ?
  1. Visit the official RRB website.
  2. Click on the link provided for CBT City and date intimation
  3. Enter your Registration number & your Date of Birth as given in your online application form (Please enter your DOB in the mentioned format (ddmmyyyy)
  4. On login, you will be able to view and print your CBT city, date and shift details
  5. In case of SC/ST candidates, they will be able to download the free travel authority.
Q.3) Whether change of exam date/city/shift is permissible ?
Ans.Change of exam date/city/shift is NOT permissible. Refer Para 14.0 of detailed CEN 2/2018.
Q.4) When can I download my Free Travel Authority ?
Ans.SC/ST candidates can download Free Travel Authority from 11/09/2018 onwards from the official websites of RRBs.
Q.5) When can I download my e-Call letter ?
Ans.Candidates can download their e-Call letters from the official websites of RRBs 4 days before and up to their examination date.
Q.6) Where can I view the mock test link ?
Ans.The mock test link will be provided in the official websites of RRBs from 11.09.2018 onwards.
Q.7) What are the exam dates ?
Ans.Candidates can view their exam date, shift and city details by logging in to official websites of RRBs.
Q.8) What is the duration of exam ?
Ans.90 minutes for non-scribe candidates & 120 minutes for eligible PWD candidates accompanied with scribe.
Q.9) When will the submit button get activated during CBT ?
Ans.The Submit button will get activated automatically on completion of 90 minutes of exam for non-scribe candidates & 120 minutes for eligible PWD candidates accompanied with scribe.
Q.10) In how many languages can a candidate attend the exam ?
Ans.The candidate can select any one of the 15 languages as the exam language from the drop down list available at the bottom left hand side of the Other Important Instructions Page. On selection, the candidate will see all the questions in the selected language. However, the candidate can view any question in any other language during the exam by using the drop down list shown on the top right hand side of the screen. In case of any dispute in question content in any language, the English version of the specific question will prevail.

Ans.100 Questions.
Q.12) Is there any negative marking ? If yes, then how many marks will get deducted ?
Ans.Yes, there is negative marking. 1/3rd of marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Q.13) How many numbers of shifts per day ?
Ans.3 shifts per day.

Q.15) What documents are required to be brought to the test center for verification ?
Ans.Candidates must bring their e- Call letters along with a valid Photo ID (viz. Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, printout of e-Aadhaar, Driving License, PAN card, Passport, Identity Card issued by the employer in case the candidate is a Govt.Employee, School / College / University Photo ID card etc. in ORIGINAL to the examination hall, failing which candidates shall NOT be allowed to appear for the CBT Candidates must also bring one colour photograph (of size 35mm x 45mm) which was uploaded in the application, for appearing in the CBT.
Q.16) 16) What documents should I carry for booking ticket against Free Travel Authority?
Ans.You can carry your City Intimation Advice and original Caste Certificate.
Q.17) What elements are banned within the exam premises?
Ans.Mobile phones, pagers, laptops, calculators or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including debarring them from future examinations.
Q.18) Will rough sheets / pen be provided in the exam ?
Ans.Rough sheets / pen would be provided by the invigilator at the examination center. Candidates are strictly instructed not to bring any rough sheets / pen. All the used rough sheets and pens should be handed over to the invigilator on completion.
Q.19) What are the unauthorized activities which shouldn’t be done during the exams?
  • Carrying any banned items inside the exam hall.
  • Using a mobile phone or any other electronic gadgets such as Blue Tooth, MP3 player, Palmtop, Tablet PC, etc. during the exam.
  • Copying answers written on Chits, Handkerchief or clothes, hand, palm etc body parts.
  • Using books or any other study material
  • Accessing internet or any other program on the exam PC
  • Chatting with other candidates during the exam
  • Manhandling Center in charge or any other venue staff assigned for exam
  • Indulging in any type of malpractice /unfair means/Misbehavior/indiscipline in the Examination Hall /impersonation.
Q.20) Can the scribe be changed on the day of exam?
Ans.Yes.
Q.21) Can a person who has applied for CEN 1/2018 notification be a scribe for PWD candidates?
Ans.No.
Q.22) I have not opted for scribe while applying. Can I use a scribe on the day of exam ?
Ans.Yes, candidates who are eligible for scribe may bring the scribe with relevant documents (original ID proof & one pass port size photo of the scribe) on exam day.
Q.23) Will free travel pass be given for PWD candidates ?
Ans.No.
Q.24) Whether Scribe is eligible for Free Travel Authority?
Ans.No.
Q.25) Google link is not working. What should I Do?
Ans.In case of a scenario where google link is not working, paste the name and address of the test center in google maps and view the location of your test center.
